So Jason, was just reading your friend blog - noticed you are having a sleepover at your house. Is that all right with you parents?

Jeff, were you going to tell your parents about your road trip? Also, in getting your car ready for said trip, are you charging it on their credit card?

Just wondered if anyone checked with parental units first? before planning? or using?

Hey all, wow I'm kinda depressed to see that jenny's post isn't on here. ya see I was helping her get signed up last night and left her as she was filling out a post...so something must've gone wrong. SUCK! Ahwell if will only be a matter of time I suppose.

That's a cool Lent discipline mom and I highly recommend you carry it PAST Lent to infinity and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend after finishing mathew, (or all the gospels, up 2 you of course), that you read ACTS. You can always go back to the gospels too. Acts is soooo cool, all about how the early church was formed and stuff.

So, I bet you have been dying to know what I did with my time alone last Sat. I am sure there has been sleepless nights, etc. Well, here goes. I made myself this really good deep dish pizza and while it was cooking, I cleaned out the lazy susan. ( yeah!!!) Then I ate in front of the T.V. channel surfing. I watched parts of Big Chill, Fatal attraction, Vertical limit and some other movie I can't remember. Made some popcorn. Read with the fire in the fireplace. Went to bed (no jacuzzi) read some more. Started reading the Bible everyday as my discipline for Lent. Yeah, I know how you feel about the whole Lent thing Jase. I do too. I thought maybe this discipline would help me be a better person rather than just give up pop or something. Anyway, started in the New Testament. Matthew. It is soooo neat to read. Any of the Bible Studies I have done have always taken different Bible verses from all over the Bible to make the study. I love just reading one book and what Christ said - It is amazing to realize that it was said 2000 years ago and has applications for living today. The Bible that I have also has introductions to the different books which gives a neat background and perspective to reading the author. Well, so much for that. Today is another Basketball game. Lutheran won last night. So we'll be in Harvard for this tourney tonight. Everything is status quo here right now. I wish I had a funny story like Jason's. So I have a wierd story to tell. Its not major wierd...just funny/wierd and maybe no one think its funny, but here goes.

This guy is walking in front of me today, had to be at least 40yrs old. He had longer hair just a little shorter then mine and it was dark with some gray. He was wearing a leather jacket and just kinda walking a moderate but "determined" looking pace. Now what I'm bout to say takes place in like 15 seconds. The guy runs his hand through his hair a few times, then grabs an advertisement of the kiask that he just walked by, crumples it up, walkes up a ramp, throws the crumpled up ad on the ground (which I pick up), then walks toward the taco bell door and sees a bike on the ground so he stomps on its back wheel, runs his hands through his hair again and then walks into taco bell. It was so odd.

At first I thought maybe the ad was one that HE put up and it was no longer to date, but then adding his irrational behavior toward the bike (which couldn't likely have been his) and the fact he just threw it on the ground led me to believe maybe he just had problems.
