I'll miss the way he used to always get himself hit by baseballs, footballs, frisbees and whatever else we might be tossing in the back yard.
I will miss the way he would run with us and almost trip us. I will miss the way he and Simon would chase each other around the house.I will miss his gentleness and his love for each member of our family

I will miss taking him to the cottage and grandma and grandpa's for Christmas, too.
Jase, you are sooo right. I would like to add that I will miss the way Max would jump up and over our bed. I will miss him drinking out of the toilet. I will miss his wagging tale and perky ears. I will miss the way he would spread wood chips all over the yard as he ran through the planting beds. I will miss the tricks he used to do for his cookie. I will miss him leaning his head out the car window and loving the breeze. I will miss having to be careful of poop in retrieving the basket ball in the side yard. I will miss him alot - for a long time. Cuz I loved him.
You right about our family too. Love is always around - everywhere- all the time. You can feel it.
We are blessed. Love you all, Mom

Yeah this week involved some downs. But it just proves to me how strong a family we are. Love all around all the time. I will miss Max. I will miss coming home and having him around. I will even miss the last few years when he was so old that he didn't move much, cause I'll miss just walking up to him and petting him incesantly and knowing that I probably just made his day. I'll miss the years when we could get him to open his mouth and go back and forth between our hands. I'll miss when we could slap the floor and get him to hunch down. I'll miss when he used to "bite" onto our arm without hurting it. I'll miss his barking next time we sing happy birthday. I'll miss his twirling at cars passing by (as I'm sure the entire neighborhood has). He was a good dog, and I'm sure if there is some kinda doggy salvation Max attained it.

in Christ,
jason
Max died. What more can I say?
